I hope you're doing well! If you want to do another blog, maybe you could try Word Press? Spammers get onto that site too, but I find it much easier to get rid of the spam by marking comments as spam. There's a really good spam filter on the site that all you have to do is delete the comments from there at any time you want. Of course the comments marked as spam go to that filter too.
