- Hi! Very pleased to meet you! I am a yellow lab guide dog from the Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) in San Rafael, CA. My birthday is April 4, 2006 just in case you want to send me a b-day kibble cake or toys! (WAGS) Shortly after I was born, I said bye to my mom & dad and went to live with my puppy raisers, Kathi & Karli. Then when I thought they were the best people to play with, they sent me off to the GDB Doggie College, where I was formally trained to be a guide dog. Now I live in San Diego with my partner Nikki, her hubby Greg & my step brother Banzai, the lil psycho pup! My favorite time of the day? Dinner time, of course, & playtime!

Okay - its hard to feel too sympathetic for you in San Diego! We've had some rain this week too and Cricket is not a fan either.
I know, I know... we're spoiled.
I used to deal with colder winter and muggy summer in Japan so many years ago! But I've turned into a San Diegan!

Howdy there! I'm sorry that I've been out of communication lately. Gary has been keeping me on guard duty lately and he's training me to be a "make people feel better" dog. I really know how to do that!
Going to Vegas? Wow, Dad never took me there. I've been to Salt Lake City and Hermosa Beach, but never to Vegas. That sounds like fun? What did you do in those casinos?

I've been wanting to say hello for many weeks. My name is Parka and I had a great trip to Texas recently. They sure do play a lot of loud cowboy music down there!
I did get to walk along the San Antonio River Walk, but I was leading two blind guys so I really had to keep them out of the water!
Dad gave me lots of loving this weekend for Valentine's. I thought I might get some chocolate, but all I got were the malted milk balls that fell on the floor and I scooped them up!
I hope you can come visit ion Memorial Day weekend for the Class 680 reunion. I'm class 155, but I'm hoping Zane will come too!
Keep up the great work and taking care of Miss Nicki. I hear she is one special lady.

Yes, I read your TX trip story. Sounds fun, but so busy!!! Leading 2 blind guys??? Don't you think 1 is just enough? You must be a heck of a good guide!
Wish I could go see you in May, but it doesn't look very promising... One of these days, you'll have to come see me.
Tell your dad not to be that tough on the report card! You sure deserve all A+ after leading 2 blind guys!
