Well, humans all over the nation voted yesterday, and America has spoken! We now have a new President Elect, a young African-American!!! This was unheard of even only 10 years ago!
When reading a textbook for school, Nikki used to think what would be like to actually witness a historic event like this, and she's actually seen the first black candidate winning the Presidential race! Last night we all watched TV and listened to Obama's speech. It was very energetic and hopeful. The job ahead is tougher than ever. Nevertheless, Obama will hopefully work with everyone and put the US back on track; be tough when necessary, but be dipromatic without pride or ego.
Nikki didn't have a right to vote yesterday because she is not a US Citizen yet. Maybe by the next election...
Meanwhile, can I write to Obama and ask for more treats???

I agree! It was so inspiring to watch the election yesterday, and hopefully this will put our country on the right track. I love reading your blog, and hope you do not mind if I link to it in mine!

Princess Coral,
You are so perceptive. Yes, P-E Obama will transform the world view of the US and bring positive change to the US and restore our image as a world leader. I feel that President Bush wasted his opportunity to make a difference. Now, we must seize the moment!
Carpe diem! Onward US.
Guide Dogs Unite! Ask for a tax cut and treat increase. Ask for more affordable health care from the vets. Too many dogs are getting career changed and falling into the ranks of the unemployed.
Guide Dogs Unite! Zane, why don't you become a leader of this cause?
All the best Coral & Nikki,
Love, Richard
Dear Princess Coral
I too listened to the Obama acceptance speech and heard that their little girls are going to get a puppy. I really feel that they need a lab...a male black lab like me would be just the ticket for those two girls. And they could guide the new President as needed...he's going to need all the help he can get.
I'd offer to volunteer but I sure like it here in sunny Southern California with my real "First Family". Besides, I hear it snows alot in DC and I don't like snow!
Zane
Yeah Zane, why don't you lead the Guide Dogs Unite! I'm all for the policies, especially "Tax Cut & Treat Increase"! I'll be your running mate, then we can start the campaign in Southern CA! No snowy DC!!!
Wow, coral you are sooooooo smart. I have heard all about the election and was pleased that I got to be around for such an historic event. I heard that Obama is getting a puppy. It will be nice to have a "first dog" in the white house. Its been too long. Do you think they would take me? Probably not as the little girl has allergies. Guess I'll have to focus on my cci training instead.
