Reflecting on Independence Day

Hello Pups and their Moms, Dads, Sis & Bros...

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! If your person had BBQ or some sorts and you succeeded to sneak a piece of meat without being caught, GOOD 4 U!!! I had no such luck...
If you were scared of all those bangs & booms, you are not alone! Although I did my best not to show it, I was a bit scared...

So what was that all about!!! Last year when I was at my puppy home with Kathi & Karli, the same thing happened; people get together & celebrate America's birthday with lots of fireworks & food of course! Independence Day is pretty important for Americans, and everyone wants to be free & independent! After all, it's the heart of American value isn't it??? I think the concept of our job, guiding a blind person, derived from the sole idea of independence; some blind people choose a guide dog to be able to travel safely on their own. But once a person become a team with a guide dog, it's all interdependence! You know what I mean??? We dogs become eyes of our persons by avoiding cars & showing them stairs, curbs, bus stops, etc, etc. In return, our persons take care of us. Now I think that we dogs deserve more food than 3 cups a day, but that's another subject! So let's celebrate our Interdependence day!!!

You thought I was smart??
HaHa Just Bla, Bla, Bra-ing:)

hi coral!
I finally got your blog address, so now i'm commenting on all your entries, haha
i agree with you, you brought up some good points, it really is interdependence day!
I'm not scared of fireworks, i sat outside with my mom and my auntie lindsey, one of mom's best friends while they went swimming, and i didn't get to sneak any food either! *makes sad face*
ah well... next year, maybe?
at least you get three cups a day, i only get two! Isn't that unfair? Mom says I gain weight easily but i think she's just trying to starve me to death! haha
