Hi everyone,
Enjoying summer? Personally, I think it's too hot these days! But maybe it's just me...
Since I haven't posted for a couple of days, I guess I'll give you a little update on how we're doing.
I was a little sick last week, but I'm fine now! My tummy can receive any kind of yummy goodies again! So send it to my way whenever you can!!! My left ear is clearing up as well. After the first vet visit on 7/3, Nikki diligently flushed my ear & put ointment twice a day. I didn't like it very much, but hey, I let her do it for kibbles or a tiny slice of apple. We went back to the vet for the follow-up on Sunday. The doctor looked deep into my ears and said everything is looking good! No ointment needed! Yeah!!!
Banzai is as crazy as he can be! But this weekend, he was very quiet and kept sleeping. I tried to have him play with me time to time, but he wouldn't come out of the little corner. At first, Nikki & Greg were enjoying the peace, but they started getting worried. Nikki even started giving him can food because he wouldn't eat regular kibble! I try to sneak a chance to steal a bite! But Nikki was on me every second! Lady, give me a break! You're blind; you arn't supposed to be able to see what I'm doing!!! Oh wait; that's why she had me on leash while Banzai's bowl was on the floor... They were going to take Banzai to the vet if he was like that yesterday. But when we came home, he was jumping & barking up a storm again!!! I guess he was just too hot to do anything over the weekend.
Greg is still dealing with health issues, but at least he is staying out of hospital. He has been working on his wheelchair, and talking about throwing a party at the end of July! Yeah, he's in good spirit! He also started going out a little. Last Saturday we (Greg, Nikki & I) did 5K walk for diabetis! I was official too! I was #213 and got all kinds of cheers! Nikki was mad because people cheered me more than her! HaHaHa, cuteness rules!!! It was a nice waterfront walk. We finished in 1 hour including my 2 pee breaks! Nikki wasn't too happy about having to stop for me, but hey, what can you do? You gotta go when you gotta go! I will post a picture from the walk soon.

WOW - sounds like quite an adventure. Good job on the diabetes run. That sounds like quite an achievement!
