Somebody! Turn Off the Oven, PLEASE!!!!

Hi everyone,

It's been very very hot in San Diego since last Friday!!! It was almost 100 degrees this afternoon! But believe or not, I still had to go out every day this weekend!!!

Saturday, I thought that we'd just take it easy because of what happened to Greg a few days ago. But Nikki & Greg had a class to go. So there I went... The class was for first-time home buyers. (WOW are we getting a new home?!?!) The presenter was animated and amusing, but the AC was turned off to save $$, I guess. We were all being cooked! What was worse, the class let out at the hottest time of the day! All I cared about was to walk in the shade as much as possible. Unfortunately that took away my concentration from guide work; of course, I had to rework:>

Today was a little better. We went to get milk in the morning, but Nikki gave me a time off when they went out for more groceries. THANK GOD!!! Boy, they came back with tons of stuff! Maybe they are opening a Target right here!:)
Nikki's friend and her hubby from Aioa visited us in the afternoon. Good thing that they aren't affected by the recent flood! We went out to eat at nearby seafood place, which reminded me of the Fisherman's Worf in San Francisco. It was crowded; there were many pet dogs too! But I was sooo good! As much as I wanted to go say hi to everyone, I stayed on task and layed down under the table while Nikki and her friends enjoyed their lunch. When we were leaving, we passed a few dogs. I did my best to ignore them! Geees that was hard!!!
