Command in Lazy English!

Dear my fellow guide dogs!

Forward, Left, Right, Hop-up, Holt... Sounds all too familiar?
Emergine mix-up of these commands! Nikki is Japanese and not a native English speaker. She does OK most of the time, but when she is tired or frustrated/confused, she starts to speak "LAZY ENGLISH!" She often says Right meaning Left, etc! Hhhh so glad that she's also giving me a hand gesture! You see what I have to deal with? I demand extra treat!!!

It's almost time to go home for us, and it's Friday:)

Have a good weekend,

Princess Coral

Princess Corl,

Little Princess Coral? You look BIG enough to me! You turned 2 in April. Now I have an older girl friend, named Zoey, 6, and now a young one, 2, and Coral is playful. I like like to PLAY.
I really miss Shelby, someone you did not know, but she was really a HOT chick and always got me into trouble with Dad. He kept telling me to lay down and quit sneaking around under the table. I was just sneaking a KISS from Shelby.
Coral, my little princess, I can't wait to meet you. Thanks for sharing your experiences with me!

Big licks and more big licks! Zane

Good morning my Prince Zane!

Yes, I read about Zoey! She's beautiful! Nikki says that she must have a good blood line, and no wonder she's a top Dog because her grandma is Nikki. I don't quite get the logic there though! What do you think???

When you come to San Diego, we will play & play & play!!! I have lots of fun squeekie toys!

Happy Dad's Day; don't forget to shine his shoes:)

Love,

Princess Coral

Hi Anna & Puppies,

Thanks for your message, and thank you so much for being a puppy raiser! Without you, we guide dogs wouldn't become super dogs!!! I have lots of warm memories with my raisers, Kathi & Karli. I got to meet them again about a month ago! Karli had a soccor tournament in Temecula, so they drove down to San Diego to see me and Nikki. It was great to see them again!

Keep in touch and let me know how your pups are doing! Who knows; one of you puppyies may be living in San Diego as a guide dog!

Bouncy Love,
Princess Coral

Princes Coral,

Mom is not Japanese, and she *still* gives me the wrong commands sometimes. Humans and their mistakes. What to do about them....

Lots of wags from Julia a Seeing Eye dog

Hi Jullia,

So wonderful to hear from you! We read about your adventure on the GDUI list. I don't post much, but really enjoy reading everyone's posts there!

Yeah, tell me about it... I can deal with wrong commands as long as Nikki doesn't create weird ones like "Helt!" What's that? HEEL + HOLT???

Love & Wags,
Princess Coral

Hi Coral,
My name is Frankie; I am a female yellow Lab in training for SEGD to be a guide dog!
I am already 12 months old, and will be going to "school" soon.
My trainer (Puppy raiser), went to Japan this year, she really loves it! She even got to go see a service dog and guide dog school!
I really like your blog, can I link to you?

Frankie
